well actually i know people who signed up here because they thought you had to be a member to download videos. also i know people who sign up post there videos and never return now that is the purpose of this site but some people post 15 vids at one time put links saying download it here and the links are dead i hate those people. so alot of people sign up because of ignorance. but i think the whole delete member thing is a bit too far what if the people just dont post if they just dont do that sort of thing thats no reason to delete them. but i do agree with the fact that you shoiuld have a delete account option but then again i dont i know how to get into a few accouts that arent mine in here and if there was a delete button i could just go in there account and delete there account without them knowing so what if someone got in your account and deleted it. you wouldnt like that. theres one 2 thigns that should be done to the forums get rid of the post counters (cause some people get out of control or people critizie other people because they post to much) and get rid of the way off topic forum i feel theres just no need for it theres way too much spam in the off topic forum already we dont need a way off topic to add to the spam. also even if people did get e-mails saying if you dont log in your acount will be deleted they will log in once just enough for there account not to be deleted and then go another 6 months without loging in so its useless. i say someone or phade should make a page so that when you register it tells you everything about everything in this site and making AMVs so that way they dont have to look for guides and or ask questions in the forums and sound stupid and get chewed out. iv seen to many people get flamed and never return. so the second you register it takes you to a very detailed guide of being a newbi. i think iv typed to much now...

No harm intended, but non-professional, it's really hard to read your post. Your suggestions are good but it takes a while to locate them when it's some clutter up.

If you put the messages into paragraph format I think it'll be easier to read, so that ppl will not be detered from reading it.

Anyway, I do wish the mod's read these suggestions, even if they might not give a ____ about what we say, because I would hope that that's part of their job as being mods.

Of course the mods read these posts - but it's not the mods that can implement things like this. Moderators only have control over the forums, and limited control at best.

As for the actual initial suggestion - exactly what is the point? I mean, they don't take up any real resources - just a couple of bytes in the database. I take up more with one video entry than 30 people who have just registered a name and a login.

It wont actually help the org by doing this but I bet there will be a time when the person who has registered visits the forum to find they've been erased and gets pissed off.

Again, there's no point (and it was actually mentioned on the old forum and the conclusion was that there's no point although Phade further mentioned that he'd probably do a minor cleanup after 3 years of the site being up and running)

The guests are members who have not logged on or are just plai not members. As for killing off memvers, that would be difficult since the memberlist is based on the a-m-v.org database. So anyone who has an a-m-v.org account has one here as well, and there are plent of people who update their acounts but don't care to post on the message board like I did for a while.

I know that this was a complicated idea guys, but the thought occured to me because, like I said, The Other Members search. Have any of you ever tried that? I'll give you an idea, I searched under "starts with" and "user id" for "k". I got a whole bunch of results, 1903 actually.

Well, I started from the beginning, a member named "K'Kar" and kept going through each one until I found one with a decent amount of stuff. Guess how many I went through? Remember, I kept going in alphabetical order. 23!!! I had to read through 23 members before I got to somebody who had more that their name and a couple of titles in their fav. anime. The member was Kadin.

Just let that sink in. I understand that there are people who are nervous about posting stuff  , but not that many people  .
