- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Seeing as though I'm taking as much flak as I'd expect from this kinda thing, I'll go ahead and join everyone else in saying that yes, this is an incredible segment. Yes, by all accounts I should have avoided the situation in the first place and kept the segment. However, this was not a decision that was made lightly, nor was it a decision I made without the advice of others (outside the 'Org) whose opinions I value greatly.
I also suppose that some of this was selfishness on my part - this being my first MEP and a song I loved dearly, I wanted the video to have a happy ending, but at the same time I was so fanboy-ed by the prospect of someone like AD joining the Project that I probably would have taken a poorly-edited DBZ segment from him (not that he's capable of such a thing... right?) Of course, things obviously didn't work out so easily, and you've all seen the rest.
So, I'm gonna go back to finishing my Buddhism paper, and you can all continue to flame the hell out of me =)

Actually I think you made the right choice Dokool. A bit that's about child sexploitation doesn't really fit the rest of the project and would have cast the entire thing into a different light than you wanted. On the other hand, after watching 6 minutes of a light dance video I have to wonder how many people would have noticed the end actually had a meaning and a rather dark one at that. It's probably best for The Children Project and AD's bit that it wasn't included.

And I mentioned that in the Project thread, too.
Seriously, as good as this is - I'm glad it's released as an outtake. It would really mess things up if it was in there. This solution is best for all, I think.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
