I just got the project and will see it in a little while.
Well, really, it depends on the level of editing involved. For me, the rule is about 3 hours of editing per minute of video
at least. The Wasteland was about 4 though. But still, that's about my time.
But some of the more 'techy' editors can easily spend a lot of time with stuff. You know, 20 hours per minute of video or more.
I've realized myself to be the complete 'KISS' editor. Whatever I do, it's always simple, and if I do something fancy, I cut corners (or cut squares out of a grid, if you like *cough*).

7 minutes for one person isn't too much though, and it all depends on the music and what you do with it. On the other hand, 11-15 minutes I consider out of my own range. I'd love to do an AMV to one of King Crimson's longer, drawn-out instrumentals, but I think it might also take a multi-editor project (both because of the length and complexity of editing that would probably be required).
What'll happen with this? I don't know, but I wouldn't have many reservations about getting something like this (were I an uninvolved viewer). Eh, I understand if it was all one piece all set to the same beat - that could be kind of a drag. But given the sheer variety of visuals and music involved, this shouldn't be a problem.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
