That way we at least know what people are getting.

When I created a video in WMM, I put it at 320x480, and it was about 18 megabytes. I recreated the same thing in HuffyYuv, and the video was about 45 megabytes.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:*hangs down head in sorrow*
At first, I was like 'Okay, maybe I did something wrong,' so I went back and created it in 720x480 in WMM. Got about 28 megabytes. I went and did the same thing in HuffyYuv, got about 56 megabytes.
Bottom line it for me, either Zarx or AD, what am I doing wrong?

O my bad.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:You are not reading, that's what you are doing wrong.
HuffYUV is supposed to be big IT'S LOSSLESS!!! and hence not a distribution codec.
Plus it should have been even bigger than what you are saying.
There wasn't any loss with the 9 codec either but, whatever works for everyone.
On a rather unrelated note, did I get a recent password change? I couldn't log on yesterday, and after about ten tries I just gave up and asked for a new password. Wasn't anything changed in my profile or anything, so I doubt my account was getting taken.

I hate being me. I always make a complete fucking fool of myself in every topic.Zarxrax wrote:Perhaps Pyle has discovered some super-l33t encoding algorthm switch in WM9 by accident.Pyle wrote: There wasn't any loss with the 9 codec either but, whatever works for everyone.
...nah...
*hangs head in shame as well*
To answer Zarx, so few people are willing to look at the WMM codecs that nobody ever thinks to utilize them.
Anyways, because my rep has been tarnished to below shit, I'm just gonna make a new account or something. This concludes my last post on the .org.
Now everybody cheer

I don't think that answers the question... I know that the WMA codec has a lossless option, but I've never seen a similar one for WMV, even WMV9.Pyle wrote:I hate being me. Apparently you have yet to master the fine art of learning from other people's mistakes.
