Ironically, the first Anime AMV I ever saw was my own since I never even knew that other ones existed when I made my first one..

I think the very first one I ever saw was the one by Jetwolf. Sailormoon, focusing in on Hotaru/Mistress Nine done to In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. After that the first few I saw were:

The first AMV I remember seeing was an Evangelion AMV using the song
"The Final Countdown" by Europe, I don't know who made it. At the time I thought it was a kick ass AMV looking back it looks pretty silly and stupid but oh well that was introduction to AMVs.
