Me? I sincerely do realize my vids are crap - but I can also have a sense of humor about it and crack jokes, because I know it is kind of funny to watch.

Realizing? You say it as if it's fact... people do have opinions, you know. There's no real completely non-subjective way to grade a video. You make me feel like an idiot for liking some of your AMVs.

Man this guy hates me a lot.

The 'nobody likes me' part is true (judging by most of the posts in these topics) and people like special effects 8) . For your information, my newest video has more then a FOUR POINT OH star rating. Ha. (That's good for me. Most of them don't get past 3.8)

Don't worry STH. My most popular vid has been out since August 03 and just now reached 100 downloads.

Weird how we both seemed to have joined at the same time. Or did I join September and not May?

I like more than special effects... I need some sort of story.

And there's nothing wrong with writing... Sarah and I are both writers (as far as I'm aware). And if you're a writer, you shouldn't be so obsessed with putting so many effects in your videos. Just make a video with a damn good story (preferably a story that doesn't occur in the anime) and you'll be fine. Yes, effects can complement a video... but look at my videos. They aren't effects-ridden but all three of them have gotten enough acknowledgement for me to be semi-known around here as an editor.

What bugs me about you is that you seem to think that the only things that can get you recognized and appreciated are effects.

It is possible to make a good video that is still simple.

My videos are self-hating =D I disslike like most of my video's (excluding maybe the blink 182 one).
