A. I'm not a dedicated hardcore Eva fanboy. I like Eva, but not to the point of hardcore dedication.

B. I've seen all of Lain. Hell, I own the box-set. Never at any point in RahXephon was i reminded of Serial Experiments Lain. Next you'll be telling me X was inspired by Pokemon.

C. One of the major plot devices of RahXephon was a conspiracy involving not only the military, but the Barbem Foundation, the Mu Leaders, and the TERRA organisation.

That is soooo wrong. The conspiracy was everywhere. Even the creators of the series said it was based upon elements of conspiracy

. Tze tze...IMO RahXephon is 2X better than Eva. Eva angel designs suck! At least Rah's look decent and not some thetraedical or ball shaped life forms

I also preferred RahXephon over Eva, but not because of mech designs.

I just hate most of the cast of Eva. So annoying.

oh yeah, saw the last two eppisodes yesterday. its good that they managed to finish riping of evangelion by riping off end of eva within the series instead of making a movie as well. anyway, i realised now that in amost every eppisode, i felt like i wanted the eppisode to end. i just didnt want it to keep going, like stop allready im sick of this crap. honestly, the structure in rahxephon is jjust so bad. things arent seemles, they dont fit like they should. alot of it is just wrong (and no, not only the eva rippoff scenes). ah, its crap, sure the animation and graphics are fucking awsome. then again, so's a 6 foot blonde walking down a catwalk.

meh, i was just rying to defend it. i thought about it a bit, and realised how much it was like eva. note that that post before was made before i saw the last two eppisodes. iether way, rahxephon wasnt worth the effort. i duno, i just didnt enjoy it as much as i hoped. actualy i didnt enjoy it much at all. ah well, their are lots of beter anime out their. like argentosoma, which is damn amazing
