Topic for the Rock
From what Ii've seen, there isn't really a news thread. You know, like a thread where people can post any new news they've heard about Rock. Rumors or not, doesn't matter, I say post it. Nothing like getting your hopes up right. So, if you are a rock/alternative/metal head and have some news about any bands. Then I say post.

Some news from my side of the fence...
With the G3 tour coming up in Europe this summer, there's word that Robert Fripp's company's (DGM) new subscription website (which is still due) will likely feature an extensive amount of live archives from the tour...
King Crimson is rumored to return to live action in Nashville, likely very late in the summer. They are likely to tour US and likely Japan with (unknown?) new material staritng this fall. Their next rehearsals are scheduled for July.
Robert Fripp and Brian Eno have been recently approached by an undisclosed horror film director, who expressed interest in some of their collaborative music as possible soundtrack...
TU, the duet of Pat Mastelotto (percussion) and Trey Gunn (Warr Guitar) have just released an album! It seems it's only available through online order so far. TU has just finished playing 4 collaborative shows with Finnish duo 'Kluster' in Finland and Japan, and as of today are heading to play 4 shows in Russia (1 St. Petersburg and 3 Moscow, including one at David Sylvian's post-show party...). They announced intentions to continue coming out to play with other duos through the next couple of months... Intriguing improv possibilities...

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
