I don't know the song that's overused nor have I ever thought about it. But the band that does it most likely has to be Linkin Park. They are used way too much. I used them in a video with high reluctancy, but everyone else seems to make one to them.

If I had to guess, I'd say In the End like someone mentioned earlier abour 400+ listings? In the End is definitely overused. Definitely.

That's probably because you didn't list LP as the artist, so I'm sure some of those results aren't actually the LP song.

Yep that is what happened. If you do a search where

artist: -linkin
song: In the End

You find a lot of non LP songs as well as inproper entries such as:

(I'm not going to say yet.... >_>) - In The End
(I dont know) - In The End
likin park - in the end

Well, I was kinda bored and stumbled upon this thread. You could possibly say that the least used AMV songs are the (god knows how many
) songs that haven't even been used in an AMV yet. or something from some utterly crappy band like a kazoo symphony or something along those lines.

Either way im just tossing my thoughts into that because I had nothing better to do at the moment.

While it's not as overused as some songs, as far as trailers go, I think Matrix Reloaded is the most used trailer theme. There seem to be over 20 videos using this audio, and for the trailer caegory, that is a lot. There are some other variations of Matrix trailers, but Reloaded seems to be the most used.
