no, with them ya can create a greate sence of juxtaposition, and eva has enough comical, not depresing, scenes. pop songs would suite as good action scenes.

oh and, i know that most rap songs dont go with anything, so dont sujest them

Cat in the Cradle by god knows how many groups now.

Poisoning pigeons in the park by Tom Lehrer (for that matter, almost any tom lehrer song wouldn't work)

Girls rock your boys by quiet riot (although I suppose there's enough footage that you could force it, but it doesn't fit the series)

Ringo buys a rifle by Dead Milkmen.

Shall I go on? I got a list of roughly 10000 mp3s and I'd be suprised if over half of them would work.

from what I've seen of Eva, and what I've read in the manga, and what more I've seen in amvs, none of these would work. They neither follow the tone nor the subject material, though one could concievably edit and/or lipsync them to the point where it might work (I don't recall any reindeer...)

...All of these are silly songs, most if not all, kid's songs. I'm sure I can think of more

"The Oddysey" by Symphony X. 24 minutes long, and none would work with Eva (except the instrumental parts). As with godix, I could name hundreds more if I really wanted to waste all that time.
