Anyway, I'm picturing a scene were some anime girl hits herself on the head in play saying "baka baka" but I can't think of where I've seen it. Too many animes in my head.

I remember seeing a guy in Captain Tyler hitting his head against the wall UNIT-00 fashion...just scaled down to human size.

But how about,

Gundam wing... I HAVE to belive that somewhere in that anime catra did something to himself.

Akira he plays with a piece of glass and cuts himself later in the movie (maybe, but the hosbital scene, if you speed it up and reversed it, it would seem like he was slicing his foot open).

In Trigun it's the one with the water, just after they have dinner. *looks for DVD* Episode 2. Assuming that's the scene people are thinking of; Vash clocks himself across the face once.

In fushigi yuugi, miaka hits herself in the head... I also think that tasuki hits himself in the head with his tessen... if you want, I could send you the footage when I find it ^^
