Anime In the Limelight Going Off the Air

Post by narcted » Tue Apr 06, 2004 1:33 am

Anime in the Limelight, the weekly internet anime music music show has announced they are going off the air. They hope it is a temporary thing and plan to be back soon.

I really like the show and I'm really disappointed to hear the news. If you love anime music, listen to the show and help show some support to keep it going.

Uhm, okay.

I got this e-mail from Max of Anime in the Limelight. Thought I'd post it and encourage anyone who likes anime music to check the show out.
Thank you for writing to us! We're in some dire straits right now, and if you'd like to contribute, we'd be very grateful. We're happy you enjoy the show so much and hopefully we'll overcome the shortfalls soon. If you know of other listeners who haven't heard yet, please ask them to drop by our site often. We're not gone yet, but it's looking like we'll become the newest internet radio casualty.

So many other stations have cut way back or just dropped out, and even Japanaradio was asking for help again in January. As far as I can tell the economic recovery isn't and with 7000 of our boys out of town for a year in Iraq, the businesses we're trying to get ad's from are taking a wait and see attitude. We're going out fighting tho. (We thought of posting a talk version temporarily but our main studio is about to move out of it's current location due to a concurrent financial crisis, leaving us with few options right now. When it rains on Annie, it's usually Tacnukes.)
