Can you feel the let down, can you?! [live action Eva movie]

I was looking at the concept sketchesfor Eva and I know that we've all had Eva up the wazoo, especially as of late, but I decided to make yet another post on it. However I think that we are all expecting ay too much from the movie, we think it's gonna be like the series brought to life before our very eys, but they didn't even keepthe characters names. Asuka is now "Kate Rose" and god is she ugly, she looks 30, hell they were too affraid to release pics of "Ray" 's face, and there was nothing on the hero who I have know idea wut his name is, since im assuming they will royaly rape the original character for him as well and make it sumthing gnarled and ugly. All I'm saying is I've heard a lot of People getting hyped for the movie, and I'm sure it'll be awesome, and the Eva's will look sweet, but just don't expect TOO much.

I was actually thinking that the movie was going to blow. Sure, the eva's might look cool and all, but that's no indication of a good movie. And I wouldn't be surprised at all if the movie bombed.

Ok OK, easy on the Eva bashing my friend, lets not be tooooo hasty, i said people were building it up too much, I didn't say it would COMPLEATLY suck, and blow goats at the same time. I mean I'd still see it, just not enjoy it as much as I'd previously hoped.

I saw those pics on the gainex site too, and completely agree, this is shaping up to be a mockery! I don't expect too much, I expect nothing of much worth at all, judging from what I've seen and heard thus far. Almost anyone in the industry can do cool special effects, but if the idiots don't even have enough respect for the anime to keep the names and the char. looks, its insulting, and they shouldn't even bother! I hope they either get their act together before releasing it, or that it flops on them.

Oh lord do I hope that crazy japenese bastard can pull this off, or I may have to kill him. I think if that guy wrote a book on the meaning of Eva, He would make millions off the anime market. I'd buy a book If it gave me a black and white meaning, and possibly a better ending than the cliffhanger shit he has left us with sorta thing.

Out of business, please, that company is swimming in the green ocean, especially in comparison to other anime companies. What with sales of the series itself, then merchandise, clothing, "How to" books, costumes, my friends, it's crazy... like a pineapple!

and now your gona crack. the movie is made by some american guy. garuanteed crapness
