I dunno about that. We're in site help, talking about the technical aspects of website design and browser compadability.

Anyway, the best test page I ever found for standards compliance is this one. OK, so that only covers certain characters. It still looks incredibly weird in IE.

Well regarding usability in IE... back before I discovered the joys of Firefox and was still being a slave to IE... it actually loaded the site perfectly fine for me. And I'm willing to bet that it's loading the site fine for the majority of other IE users as well. So if there is a problem viewing the site in IE, I'm pretty sure it can be chalked up as a user or system error.

The problem initially started when the site moved to a differnet server. This might actually be a problem unrelated to to the client. I haven't changed anything when the problem had started. It worked fine one day....i saw the post about the server moving. I had problems soon after that. The problem happens on my laptop and my desktop and my server. I haven't changed any settings on either of these machines or had installed any new software of any sort. The site didn't used to have this problem wih IE. Something might be configured differently on this new server to cause pages to expire much quicker than they used to.

Actually you might be right about that. I just fired up the ol IE and tried it out. And I do get that error as well when searching and stuff. I know for sure I didn't used to get it.

About the only thing I use IE for now is it's uploading system. Some websites I kow of hate FTP programs, but willingly accept IE's.

I don't think Opera can upload and I haven't tried FireFox features a lot yet. It mainly depends on the person and what they want to do. I use IE for uploads, and I mainly use Opera cause it's easier on the resources than FireFox, but FireFox has more features than Opera and looks nicer in certain ways.

I think that about covers what some people want to say, but maybe not.
