I like the way Phade killed the OT forums but we still have to wait 30 years between posts.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Hey nailz1000,
That has nothing to do with an edit button. That message has to do with post flooding. This is a forum, not a chat room. If you are making posts quickly, you are either not thinking about what you are typing or you are trying to post chat-type answers like "LOL", "x2", ":
:". Such answers do very little to further a discussion and only cause people to scroll more to get past your lack of content. A thought-out answer to any post should take more than 90 seconds (the current flood time limit).
Phade.

Although, it may compliment someone on a video or something of the like. Someone may post something about some music they made, like XenoDrake, and people make "Phade wrote:Hey nailz1000,

Hey,
Phade.
I'm not saying that these items in a post are bad. I'm saying that when the entire post is one of those, the post is highly unlikely to add much to the conversation. In stead of "x2", a thought-out answer of "I agree. I would also like to add [give my perspective here]". Adding information to the thread is useful. Useful information generally requires thought and time to type. Adding "x2" does not. "x2" as an entire message is a chat-type response, not a forum-type response.BrsrkEva wrote:Although, it may compliment someone on a video or something of the like.
