If you have a trailer, post a link and I'll op it.

If you post a shi-- pile of them, I may do the first one, and get back to the rest after some other people.

I have a reason for this. I'm gong to have my students do a movie trailer as a midterm assignment in a few weeks, and I want to see what sort of ideas are already out there 1) so that I don't unintentionally copy someones work and 2) because I like movie trailers, 3) because I feel like writing opinions this weekend.

Some examples: DJ Izumi's excellent Project Black, Animatrix and Hitori Studios Soldier or even a trailer for an AMV like Ashyukun's

Not at all! I might not watch the series, but I like a good action sequence not and then, if nothing else DBZ has that one nailed.

Interesting project to give students. Anyway, I've done two trailer videos that you could check out, one for a movie and one for a game. Both videos were done with scenes from Evangelion.

Posted both ops.
The second one was much better I thought, it felt like crafted cinematic more than a trailer. Pretty good lipsyncing too.

This trailer was so dead on to the dialog and the music, that at first I thought that you had cheated and used an original studio trailer.
The video quality could use a serious upgrade on this one though.

What, no one else does trailers?

Sorry it's taking so long with yours. I'm having some real problems getting your video to play smoothly. I've tried several different players.

What codec did you use on this one? I may need to do an update.
