what anime can i use for this piece?
i've found a wonderful piece of music to make an instrumental video with, and I was thinking about using Escaflowne for it, but its not working as well as I want it to. Here's how the piece progresses and the direction I'd like to go with it.
The first 1:40 is a really smooth, happy loving feel. Maybe showing two lovers and all the things they love to do or how they fell in love or something like that.
From 1:40-2:40 something tragic happens. I was thinking his lover was taken from him or put under a spell or leaves him based on a misunderstanding or anything that neither one of them wants to happen but they can't stop it.
From 2:40-3:40 the music is really mournful. Maybe showing the guy beaten down physically but his heart commands him to go on. Or anything that shows some raw emotion towards whom or what was lost. Maybe have him trying to get up and walk to save his lover but he can't get up.
From 3:40-4:10 I'd like to have the hero thinking of a plan, as if something brilliant stuck him, and show him beginning to prepare to take action.
From 4:10-5:00 the music gets very peaceful, and I'd like to show the hero solving the problem very peacefully and lovingly. Something that'd you'd never expect to happen.
From 5:00-7:15 the music gets very jolly and I'd like to show how everyone thereafter is happy and the conflict has been resolved. Maybe show the two lovers back together again, doing some of the things we saw them do in the beginning of the video.
This may be kinda rough, but I'm open to any ideas anyone may have. I'd like it to be a peaceful, calm, almost soothing video. I can get ahold of most of the more popular animes.
Thanks a ton.

nah, I really doubt it - people taking a 7-minute instrumental like that? That's not really a 'hot' category by any means (how many long instrumental videos are there, anyway?)
You do need an anime with a lot of contrasts I see... now... if only my brain would start working

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Um no offence or anything to the guy who suggested it.
But Evangellion is a tad cliched. I mean sure the jumpe emotions etc would suit it but its kind of taking the easy way out... although I would hardly call a seven minute amv easy but meh.
For my suggestions I always go with shows that either A No one has ever done before, or B Millions of people have done before but never done well.
So I say The Fatal Fury movie.
The first 1:40 minutes would show Terry hookin in with that girl (I forget her name)
for 1:40-2:40 You could show either the girl he is hookin in with killing herself or it would probbaly suit it better to show him flashing back to his old girlfreind being shot cause its really early in the amv.
2:40-3:40 You could show Terry trying to save the new girl while he is getting smashed by the huge flaming marse god dude.
:40-4:10Now I know you wanted it to be more him thinking of a plan but you could just show him completly snapping.
4:10-5:00 Now I know you said it is verry peacefull music, I rekon that would provide the perfect counter point to the climactic fight scene. It would pobbaly work really well (I could be more specific If you would tell us the name
)
5:00-7:15 Fatal fury like all movies based on fighting games has a REALLY tacky ending, so you could show them all being happy and shit/
Or for another idea. pretty much the same thing but with Street Fighter Alpha and instead of showing Ryu in a relationship with a woman you could show his relationship developing with his little brother.
Hope that helps ya.
