Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.
but that's to be expected when you're converting midi sounds to rock.
Well, it's not like they "converted" the MIDI sounds, per se. This was performed with real live instruments, so they really could have arranged it with whichever instruments they wanted, guitars included. Force Your Way was more or less guitar-driven.

Also, you could compare the Guilty Gear X OST to the GGX Hard Rock Tracks.

Too bad we'll never get a chance to see them live.

Yeah, I already said that...
I wrote:But this isn't midi quality music here, it's redone with drums, guitars, keyboards, and synthesizers. But it still maintains that nostalgic midi sound, just... much nicer.
From what I've heard, Uematsu wanted to keep it as close to the originals as possible so it would maintain that nostalgic value. But we're not really going anywhere with this. ^_^; You don't like prog, that's about it. This is just more or less how prog is arranged.
