Music videos for the soul

Post by Lyrs » Fri Aug 30, 2002 5:48 pm

I just finished watching and reviewing a video that to my ears was very relaxing and in a way pleasing. It was peaceful, smooth sounding, and in a sense innocent. Hell maybe I'm crazy but it's my opinion.

And I thought, are there music videos out there that are also relaxing? If these music videos happen to have rock in them plz note that, rock may be relaxing to some, but not others, like me.

Here's the Card Captor - Sakura no Yume link if you want to check it out.

Hey ErMac, I might actually have to upgrade my pc just to watch that video. Anyway, money's easy to come by when you have a job. I'll have myself that brand new 2.8ghz pc come fall, WOOOT!

I remember the sweet old days when 333mhz/64mb ram/2 meg video card could do anything. Nothing lasts forever it seems.

I can play that video on my P2 366 laptop just fine. Just install DivX5 and then set it's quality slider down to 0 and it runs fine.

Thanks, but really, for most of today's video formats, you do need serious machinery to have it run smooth. If a video doesn't run smoothly, it makes the video last enjoyable.

Yeah, I turn the quality to zip when I watch avi's. It screw's up the video capture/output score for Opinions though. I'm never really sure when I grade video's on that subject, if it's just my machine or that of the video itself.

I actually find that the DivX 3.11a - 5 "quality filtering" sucked. Never helped. I always kept it over to the left.
