OMG!

*gets*
 That... That was Awesome! :o

Qyot27 - I would say that your solace in destruction definitely qualifies as a parody because it really does evoke the feel of an old Godzilla movie. Speaking of which I just saw one last night. They went back in time to stop Godzilla from being born but people from the future made a new monster that they were going to use to destroy Tokyo so the heroes brought Godzilla back to defeat the monster then he got mad and they brought the monster back to defeat him... You know, the usual.

Scintilla that reference was hilarious.
*Wonders if there's a vid to that song*
NO?!?! How can there not be any videos to that song? I might have to change this.
to mods: this post started off on-topic, really.

Yeah, actually, I watched about forty minutes of it last night also. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. I had to leave, and turned it off just as it was about to play the updated version of the theme that I used in the video (at least, I think they were about to play it), quite ironically.

And that would be awesome to finally have a vid to that song. I think I considered it once, but never did it. Besides, I can't even think of a background for it now. You should do that video. Definitely.

Do you know the actual title of the song? I might take a shot if I can find it.

Yeah, the name of the song Scintilla made reference to was "The Freshmen" by the Verve Pipe. It was played a lot back in '97. And then, the song I made reference to at the end of my first post was "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger, and got a lot of radioplay in summer '98.

Forgive me, I'm a hopeless reservoir of useless music trivia ^_^

Running With Scissors! Great CD! Come to think of it, a couple of the other songs I considered making reference to at the end of that post are also in that medley as well. :)
