what anime is this?

Oh, and while I'm at it, I'll throw this one out:

When I was a kid I remember this (very loosely dubbed, I think) movie - possibly, though not definitely, anime - about a pet squirrel, living in a city apartment, who is inspired to run away from home by a pigeon. He ends up in a forest with a bunch of other squirrels including a girl squirrel named Nono. And then something dramatic happens which I don't remember. The main squirrel wore a bandanna, I think either blue or green. This was about 1987. They actually didn't look terribly much like squirrels; more like chipmunks with long pointy tails and striped backs.

To this day, I cannot figure out what the hell that movie was. It's one of those nagging things that pops up in the back of your mind every now and then.

Anyone who can name this for me gets eternal gratitude. 8)

ok i have another movie ive been looking for but cant remember the name(i must have alzheimers already). I think the title is something like: thee eyes or eyes of mars or well something to do with eyes. BUt it takes place on a planet thats dying and they have to move the people to another planet. and i think they did that one time before. it turns out that they are moving from mars to the moon to the earth. i cant really remember the plot or what all happened on it but i thought it was cool when i saw it.

People I have to tell you where wrong about gall force.
I just checked and the ship in that show is called star leaf and I am almost 90% certain that ship was called Akon Kagaja.
And no misterious bionic aliens i can remember.
Any other leads?

I'm not familiar with the anime, but the title you mention sounds sorta like "3x3 Eyes".

"Star Leaf" might be a dub name. If it ends with the girls crash-landing and finding a boy (the first one they ever saw) in a pond, I would bet real money it's GF:ES. The very end of the movie is a scene of a modern world where everybody looks like various characters from it (like they'd repopulated the earth, or somesuch). I also remember a bunch of rather fanservicey dream sequences (one of which took place entirely underwater), one of the girls being a robot, and I think several cast members dying off earlier in the movie. The Paranoids were mostly at the very beginning.

Gah, my memory. Why can't I remember USEFUL things?!
