What anime made you want to really get into it?

Robotech:Macross Saga almost 12 years ago.
But I had a long break until about 2 years ago when i watched Evangelion and was simply blown out of my mind.

Second to follow was I my me strawberry egg.(the best gender bender i ever watched),Vampire hunter D,Blood the last vampire...

I used to be a dedicated hardcore mecha fan but watching KareKano and Love Hina got me to looks at other types. I have found I really like the romantic comedies and anything with a good story.

I second that romantic comedies are way to go.
Much more stress free. Love Hina is the best anima series ever,kanon,maburaho,kimi ga nozomu eien(or something like that),stellvia,Ah my goddess...

Well, when i first saw Sailor Moon (Yes Sailor Moon) I realy liked the show (back when they showed it on Cartoon Network) And I got so upsest with it I started to buy the Dolls they made, movies, The box set, all those things that came out. That was the show that got me into anime and all that stuff. but anyways, when i first saw Inuyasha I didnt realy find it interesting, but than I was boerd one night, and i just put it on the channel it was on, and I started to watch it and just fell in love with it. (even though i thought Inuyasha was so HOT!!!!)

Sailor Moon. Unfortunately I have not seen Sailor Stars. I'm still waiting for it to come onto the tv's here in Australia. It really got me into it all when I went searching for more info on the show and came across all these other anime shows. I guess what sealed it was the anime on Adult Swim. Like Tenchi and Cowboy Bebop...
