Well... yeah, that's basically truth. However, some videos can be popular among editors because we often look for more than just flashes. But for the general viewing audience, popular means lots of flashes. So, Images can't and won't be popular (despite it being made by a popular editor)... but in a way, I'm really glad Fluxy made that. Maybe more general viewers watched it thinking that since it's Fluxy, it'd be flashy (inverted) action, and it turned out to be something much different. Hopefully more people will look for more than flashes and floating rectangles... but I don't see that happening soon. ^_^;;

The video simply lacks in the reviewability factor. It doesn't mean the video isn't spectacular or lacking in quality. All it means is that it's not going to get watched over and over and over and over again.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I started to get bored about 1/2 way through. But I don't want to sound like I don't think it was a really good video. I won't watch it much, but that doesn't mean I don't regard it highly. I thought it was very interesting, and worthy of download even though I've only watched it once.

Me neither. Except that maybe the majority of people will start to look for videos that are less flashy; less popular.

There are vids that arent flashy that are still popular. Well, at least there are vids that arent flashy that I like.
I just honestly havent seen any recently. I don't scan all the new anounced videos because I believe the statistic that 90% of everything is crap and I'm not about to download every video on the org to try and prove or disprove it. So basically I just look out for anouncements of familiar faces and I havent seen that many slow vids recently from the people I watch out for. If there were more slow vids, believe me I'd download them.

Well, that's the main thing. Most of the popular non-flashy videos are older ones. You don't see many popular non-flashy videos made recently. I'd be surprised if someone could make a popular non-flashy video now. Of course... non-flashy means not too much lip sync... otherwise Chihuahua! and I Can't Wait to Be King could be included. But lip sync is always popular. ^_^CaTaClYsM wrote:I just honestly havent seen any recently
