Rearance the top 10% into categories
I'm thinking it's not fair to compare apples and oranges. It's hard enough when people have to rate videos as is, but when you start comparing Engel to Euphoria to Souls of Rage and Sorrow to Grand Theft Bebop, your asking people to compare fruits and space alients. If you went, and broke up the categories of videos, and listed each of THEIR top 10s, it would make things alot more fair for the creators, as well as the people writing the opinions. That way they don't need to compare the replay values of two different TYPES of vids to see which one they watch more. If it's an action vid, you compare it to other action vids. If it's a comedy, you compare it to other comedies. Alot of people think the opinion system and top ten list is screwed to hell. And frankly I think alot of their complaints are valid. Going, and breaking up the top 10 list into CATEGORIES and THEN giving each one it's 10% would be a leap and a bound in the right direction.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Action 10%
Drama 10%
Comedy 10%
Horror 10%
and so forth. If each category already has it's own 10% list I'm going to shit a brick.

(That last category is so sparsely populated that HungryCrackPot's "Big Butts and Misato" made it onto the list with a pathetic 1.88 average.)
Okay, I guess they're not really the top 10% of each category, but at least they're the top 155 of each category.

*shits brick*
Not so much because of the categories, but because just about everyone has all the categories selected. YOu got a assload of fun/action/serious/comedy/trailer/profile videos running amok.
Well, I give up.
