Puni Puni Poemy- is it good?

Well whatever you are reading is wrong. Poemi has no characters from excel saga aside from Nabeshin. Storylines are totally different. The ONLY similarity between Excel Saga and Poemi is that they are created by the same people.

And the fact that Sandora does Puni Puni Poemi artwork in that one episode of Excel Saga, if that counts as a similarity.

Poemi is very much like excel saga. However Poemi is very much more over the top. It also has some very adult content, much like the final episode of excel saga. It's also quite possibly got the fastest speaking voice actresses ever.

and how 'bout the fact that the Nabeshin guy in puni puni poemi is directly from excel saga is still the exact same dude still makes it somewhat of a sequel right??

Its similar in style to excel saga. It's nothing like excel saga in the sense that they are the same thing. Nabeshin can show up in both series because he the directed the series'. Sort of like how an actor can be in a bunch of movies, those movies arent necessarily sequals to one another.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing something about it being the sequel too, but after watching it I can tell you, other than Nabeshine it has nothing connected to excel saga, it parodies everything imaginable, and its gut-wrenchingly funny. The series consists of only a few episodes though, supposedly the creators (who are the same creators who brought us Excel Saga) intended to make it a full series but decided it just was to hard and ended up cramming every insane stunt into a few episodes. I definetly recommend it.
