Honestly......I think its like a mix between both

It has anime characters and an almost realistic story
just had 2 give my $0.02

I haven't played any FFs before FF6. And I've played FFT. Tell me, am I missing out on anything?

Ah, as long as you've played 6 and 7, that's all you really need to play, even though they're all really good at some point or another!

FF6 = greatest FF game. *In my humble opinion* I've played all the games except FFXI and Crystal Chronicles and it REMAINS my fave, hands down. It's only on the SNES too =/ so what does that tell you oO

FF Mystic Quest was the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen with the Square name on it! I cant believe they even called it a FF game!!!

Mystic Quest really didn't deserve the FF label...but it wasn't that bad! I didn't even consider it a FF the first time I played it, so I wasn't too dissappointed.
