hey, i started to make music videos for a while, and i have a problem...
iono how to make most of the clips faster, like u noe i most videos, u can see clips tat move faster, so tat they move wit the song.
It would be great if someone taught me or at least tell me how to do it.
I have Windows Movie Maker and Adobe After Affects 5.0

You would probably want to get a differen't editing program besides Windows Movie Maker. I'm not sure if its possible to edit the speed of clips in there. You can adjust speed in After Effects, using the "time remapping" feature... but After Effects is not an editing program, so I would discourage you from trying to edit your video in it.

Yes, you can double the speed in wmm 2.0 (or multiply it by 4 or 8, etc), and you can increase the speed by increments of .02 in ShowBiz (or slow them down).
But editing speed rates of your clips can make the footage lag or look jerky in videos. It's probably better if you edit the clips yourself to make the footage move faster. For instance, if you're trying to speed up a punch in a fight, just cut out a few frames where the characters are 'pausing' - overlapping the two clips (after you cut out the lag time) will make the movement seem natural but faster. If you're using wmm 2.0 you can do this very well by slowing the clip down, cutting out the 'lag time' or 'still frames' and then undoing the 'increase speed by half' effect so the uncut footage plays at normal speed - it will then show *just* the movements and not the extra frames that keep the clip slow. If you're trying to speed up something like a pan (where the scene rolls to the right or horizontally) then just cutting out the middle and either overlapping the two (a fade in ShowBiz, but wmm you can just shift the clips to overlap) or leaving them so the camera 'jumps' over that dead (slow) space - making the pan quick without changing the speed.
For things like pans or even action scenes, most of the ones I've seen that were sped up by a clip effect *looked* like they were sped up - either blurring at times or actually shaking (jerky) depending on whether it was originally a slow pan or just a slow movement.
But that's just me - as far as speeding things up go, I think it looks much better if you *edit* the clips instead of forcing a faster playback that can look bad in the final video.
