Just listened to the Black Queen/White Queen songs, and I think I'll try it. I haven't decided whether I should mix them, or do them separately and label them as a set of two, but I have started a list of possible scene-to-song correlations to work with.

I'd say keep em separate. They're pretty different songs musically. And I like them when they're full (White Queen is really awesome towards the ending)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Yes, I've come to that conclusion as well. They're too long to combine in their entirety and too complex to just cut parts out - that would be like taking the operatic section out of "Bohemian Rahpsody" to make it fit some arbitrary time limit. So it shall be "Two Queens, Part 1: The Black Queen" and :Two Queens, Part 2: The White Queen", or something like that.

That, and doing it this way makes it more forgivable if I have to use the same scenes at couple of points for the two different songs. I'm not sure if that will be a problem or not, but I have considered the possibility (especially with the "Swan Lake" episode, which has parts that would fit both songs wonderfully).

Heh, it's a shame I still don't have Princess Tutu; I would so do join you in making that, too

Hope you do a good job with that; I'll definitely watch when you're done.

i've split the entire Princess Tutu series into short, labeled clips and have started matching them up to "White Queen", i've also tested out some technical points on a few less-involved videos - so I shouldn't have too many of those to sort out at this point (though my audeo sync at preview time is still a bit off - a hardware thing - so i might have to just avoid moving lips altogether).

looks like it might be a while before I get to "Black Queen", though I have a general idea for that one, too.

To Bunny:

To watch videos, click on the "Search Vids" button under the main menu on the left side of your profile or of this site's home page. You'll be shown a dialog with the option "Super Search". Click on "Super Search" and fill in the fields.

As for actually downloading, you will have to wait two weeks from the time you joined (so one week and six days from now) to download the "Local" videos, but you can get the "Direct" and "Indirect" videos at any time.

The site admins decided to make people wait on the Local downloads to discourage people from creating extra accounts when they forget passwords and other abuses of membership. It's a pain, but it'll be over soon enough.

I hope this is of help to you.

I don't have much to go off of yet (three stars on one, two on the other, no ops), but it seems like these two videos just might be the biggest flops I've ever made. I'm not really sure why, other than the possibility of people having really short attention spans, but it seems that I've somehow produced a one and a two on a scale of five. Frustrating.

If anyone would like to tell me WHY these suck so much, please do. I'd like to know.

nevermind, the scores climb.

that's good, because i was actually quite happy with these when i made them. they aren't masterpieces on the level of some of the stuff made by the elder members of this community, but i did put some real effort into trying to make them flow as well as possible with the music.

i was starting to worry for a while that the popularity of my videos was becoming inversely proportionate to the amount of care that went into them.
