"Creation Time" value for AMVs

Post by klinky » Wed Mar 10, 2004 4:46 am

I think it would be grand if people entered how long it took for them to make their AMV into the database. I am sure some people out there can make a rocking AMV in four hours, but the majority out there, I would have my doubts on.

Just a thought ;o

Yeah, I don't see how that could be all that bad an idea.

Note to self: Remember to keep track of how long it takes to make a video.

Hey,

This information can easily be entered into the video profile notes.

Yeah, people already do that.
Even in AMV announcements.

For those of us who manage to keep track.

Yeah what he said...

I do that in my video description and I guess if you wanna emphasize it, you could always just bold it like so.

Then again, I don't wanna draw attention to the fact my simple videos take 100+ hours ;_;

I usually enter how long it took, anyway.

And, from my experience, while 4-hour vids generally don't go to far, once you get a little above that - the quality of the vid is not neccesarily proportional to time spent. Besides - it's too easy to trick the system, as there's no actual way to check how long videos take to make :roll:
