Dubbing Eva with Gargoyles clips - Xanatos as Gendo!

I have like 50 downloaded episodes of Gargoyles on my computer... I was thinking, wouldn't it be fun to comb through them all, pick out the ones of Xanatos saying something, and insert them into appropriate spots during Evangelion? And Owen could be Fututsuki... I'm pretty sure I could find a clip of Xanatos saying "Owen, take care of the rest of this..."

And wouldn't Elisa make a perfect Misato? Except when there's beer involved... I don't think there was any beer on Gargoyles... Bronx is automatically Pen-Pen... Demona could be Ritsuko, I'm pretty sure she says something very similar to "Let me show you the truth" to Brooklyn... Goliath as Rei would be too wrong NOT to do... especially considering the whole Thailog thing...

This idea originally started out as an Eva/Star Trek crossover, but I realized that Xanatos made a much better Gendo than Riker would. And I don't have any downloaded episodes of Star Trek. And I'm not going to buy 7 seasons of TNG just for this project. Although I wish I could buy all 3 seasons of Gargoyles. Or at least the first one. And Exo Squad, too.

I also considered an Eva/Aliens crossover, with Von Leuwen and his cronies as the Committee and Ripley as Misato, but who would be Shinji? There's nobody whiny enough... except maybe Hudson... I'd love to see Shinji yelling "Game over, man!" Now wait, I could use Lambert! Yeeessssss...

Or beter yet, I could redub an episode of Star Trek with Gargoyles clips...

Cosidering that the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation were pretty much the vocal talent for Gargoyles....
