black borders
Hi. This question is specifically for photoshop, although if there is a solution which I can implement in premiere, I will certainly try it out.
For some parts of my AMV project I have been importing images and text. Quite often, these images look anywhere from decent to excellent around the edges (I use the blur tool on the edges). When I imported text however, the edges were decent but the words have a very "imposed" feeling. I realized that to reduce this, I would need to put a moderate (in thickness) black border around the text. I am currently doing it the hard way, by brushing the edges manually with a black small point brush, but this looks somewhat sloppy and less professional.
Is there any setting or filter etc that can give my text (or images for that matter) an automatic black border? For that matter is there any filter which can give my text a shadow or otherwise enhance its appearance?

This forum has no place for threads that say no more than "hi, I'm new here".
Anymore.
On the other hand, if you've got a question that needs answering, by all means start a thread in the appropriate board and we'll be happy to help you.
Well, some of us will, at any rate.
