an amv contest that favors magical girl animes?

I'm racking my brain trying to remember what contest I read about awhile back, but can't figure it out. they mentioned in their rules that they focused on magical girl anime and the link, even gave examples of what animes they wanted to see in their amv submissions. I wanted to go back to that page and check it out again, but I can't remember what con it was. I must've visited at least a couple dozen con pages today looking for it. lol. but no luck.

does anyone else have any ideas?

You're definitely thinking about Shoujocon. While they don't limit it to shoujo anime ONLY, they do try to focus on "shoujo themes," such as romance and shoujo-drama-stuffage, etc. They've gotten extremely lenient and vague over the years, though...

hm, yeah, I wondered if that was the one. it sure fits the description, but they don't have much info up for this year yet, and I seem to remember reading the rules I mentioned not so long ago. perhaps it was last year's rules that hadn't been taken down yet? lol. anyway, thanks for the tip.
