Windows movie maker help.....

How do I remove sound from some clips that already have sound on them using Windows movie maker?

Easy

at the timeline of your video at the bottom, just klick at the + next to Video (thats left).
There you can see the audioline of your inserted clip. DONT DELETE IT. Klick right on it and there should be something like "sound off".
klick it.

I'm using the Movie Maker 2, you can get it free from Microsoft

well, I'm using the version that come with my comp, and my comp os relatively new, (christmas gift), however, comparing the screen shot that you posted,, and the verison I am using, it would appear as such.

Because it's a new comp then you should have WinXP . But WinXP is still released with the old version (no idea why).
