Funi doing Sonic X??!!

while browsing through Rightstuf.com i found two of Sonic X dvds for preorder. i had no clue Funi got the rights to this which was surprising. if you dont believe me then go here

if you all ready know about then well you all ready know. there also doing Sakura Taisen(SP) an anime that does not intrest me.

They only have the marketing and distro rights, like what they have with Ninja Turtles.

4kids entertainment has the rights. They have desecrated it. It runs saturdays on FoxBox alongside chop-sokyed Shaman King. x_x

Kinda weird since ADV had the rights to the first Sonic anime (Sonic X is only the second Sonic anime)

But, even Funi would have been better, at least they make an effort to fans and release an uncut version with the original Japanese dialogue.
But 4Kids!? WHHHHHYYYYYY!???!!!??

4Kids is evil. (they cut the Sonic Drive intro...bastards)

They're like the modern DIC. They go americanize an anime and never bother to release an uncut original japanese version. (it almost like an F U to the fans). At least they could do waht they did with Card Captor Sakura, wherein they release a dubbed edited edition, and a (fan-faithful) subed uncut version. I'm very tempted to get these, even at $35 a pop (at least they have 4 eps and not two like other releases. some even have 2 eps for $60!!)

I fear the worst for Tokyo Mew Mew.
