revenge of the hardware

ok, i know this is a bit off topic, but still. anyway, has anyone ever hurt or cut themselves when working with pc hardware/perihperals ? i cut myself yesterday when i was taking out my vid card yesterday to remove some stuborn dust. the cut is still thier now, and its kinda a pain, literaly. anyone els sufer hrom thier hardware ?

My friend had to get stitches in his hand after he cut it on his case's interior. He dropped it while working with it.

i cut myself a few times on my old case. i hate that thing. the left side panel is still coverd in blood coz i dont feel like cleaning it off. that things has sharp edges all over the place

yeah cases are notorios for having razor sharp bloodthirsty edges. alot of reviews on pc cases talk about its blood requirments :twisted:

i burned myself a lot on a soldering iron while removing capasitors and relays... >.< i have a bunch of scars on my knukles. but yea i've cut myself and poked myself all the time. it's a pain indeed.

burnt myself by touching my computer once over heated, and cut my self opening the disk drive lol :D

I've cut my fingertips up on the solder points of stubborn peripheral cards (sound, vide, network etc) you dont notice till later, and then it really starts getting annoying, and slightly painful to boot.

ah, i copped a bit of a stabing by a staple while trying to take the cpu (p4 2.8) out of some stubb orn packaging. though my freind coped it worse. he cut his thumb while removing the cases backplate and got blood everywhere. damn bloodthirsty case
