Some people have metioned bait and switch (ErMaC and AD's guide) but no one has mentioned one of it's best fetures. Although you have to have enough space to rip the DVD's you only need it temporarily, you can delete it right away. For all of the time yoou are editing you only need the compressed file. For example my vid I used the ENTIRE Hellsing series as a source, no clips whatsoever. Yet the whole project only took up 6 gigs of space on my laptop. I simply used another computer to do the one day procceses of capture and export then moved the uncompressed vid (5 gigs) back onto my laptop for encoding.
