Eva Prequel?

Hey, I heard a rumour that there is an evangelion prequel in the making, that is going to explain even more about the second impact and Asuka and Shinji's early childhood. Is there any truth to this?

nope, those rumors are wrong. All this has been done with eva is..uhm..well done. There are some side story mangas being made like the new Girlfriend of Steel manga and what not, but no prequals are in planning. However a live action movie is in the planning, but don't expect to see anything interesting for another 2-5 years.

could it be argued that the minds were already messed up and EOE ACTUALLY ALMOST MADE THOSE MINDS THINK ON A DIFFERENT PLAAAAIN?!?!?!?!?!... naaaaaah, i think eva is differently a higher thinking type of thing that everyone can understand given some effort is put forth, but initialy it DOES fry a couple brain cells and blow ur mind with it's beautiful complexity

The thing we need more of is Berserk!

Anyway, I wouldn't personally want an Evangelion prequel. It would be interesting, maybe even awsome to see the origin of Lilith or something like that, but it'd be like a documentary compared to the original Evangelion. And I can't see how it could have a whole lot of coherency to it, atleast not as much as the original series. If they did actually make it, I'd only watch it to see the story of Rei's creation and childhood, since that stuff is completely perplexing.

But whatever...
