Back on Topic:

One thing that I noticed, which surprised me, was the fact that this manga includes an 'Otaku' that actually reflects the stereotype over in Japan, ie the negative side...poor Subaru ... It was different to see, I've never really seen a character portrayed as such.

Damn... I can't see his pants very well

The coat is nice though. Definitely above my ghetto hippie level.

And about the only part that's similar is the glasses... except mine are dark and serve no actual purpose to focus-enchancement. And the hair is more like my brother's, though about 3 times longer. (or, 3 times shorter than mine...)

Lol, I really doubt a fangirl would complain about longer hair. Hmm, is he mean...? I don't think I'd call him mean. Or goofy, for that matter. Certainly an egotist - I think he doesn't really see anyone other than himself as a person, so he doesn't worry about whether his demands upset his 'slave'. I would call him socially inept, and intense - the kind of person who might scowl, smirk evilly, or look emotionless, but very very rarely actually smile. Which is why it would be rewarding to try to win or earn those rare smiles from him, I suppose.

Does Ryoki even need glasses? He seems to wear them occasionlly then other times he's without them...the mysteries....
