I'm seeking serious, practical opinions on my latest bit of work, a long, serious, instrumental Evangelion vid. I think it's an improvement for me, but I'm committed to stamping out whatever deficiencies are left in it for the future. In fact, I still have all the material handy, and should there be consistent concerns, I could even fix them and have the vid re-uploaded.

I'm looking for ops on this video:

In principle, 1:1 would be OK, but realizing that op-ing a 7.5 minute vid can be quite a bit of effort, and you may have short vids, I will consider up to 3 videos provided that their combined length does not exceed 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

All videos are acceptable; I have an open personality and am largely free from like/dislike. I will consider your video from all possible sides; and I'll mainly be looking at it as something of an art piece.

What I expect for your op on my video

1) I'm not interested in quick praise or passing comments; please make an effort to make this a detailed, critical opinion.

2) I am interested in what you think of my concept, but this is NOT what I'm specifically looking for. I can't change the concept; but I'm interested in how you evaluate my execution of the concept.

3) Tell me, as far as possible:

i - what you think works well in the video
ii - what you think doesn't work in the video
iii - for what you think doesn't work, try to explain as much as you can WHY it doesn't work, and HOW I could possibly fix/improve it

You can do the op in any format you wish; I just hope you review it attentively and with an open mind

What you can expect from my op on your video(s)

I will try to go with my own 3 recommendations.

I'm generally positive and it would be very unusual for me to give a low mark or not to see the video's good points. However, I'm generally perceptive and will pick up on points you missed pretty well.

(yea right, I must've intimidated the lot of you by now ~_~ and will be lucky to get even one)

Lol, MJ, your ops are fine for what he's looking for. The only rule you need to know about is that the combined length of the videos you ask him to op cannot be more than 7:30.

Oto, I might take you up on this. Are you limiting amount of exchanges here or will you do every exchange that comes up? I already have your video, but I haven't watched it yet.

Well, hell, I'll take you up on it. Just be prepared to read a lot. I'll be aiming for about 2000-2500 words, because I think that's all I'll need. It might take a while. I'm not sure when I'll start, but I'll be doing about 30 seconds to 1 minute per day once I do. I'd like a review on my two most recent (they should add up to a little over 6 minutes). Don't review either of them until I get yours finished, because then I'll feel bad.

It takes me a while to get in review mood.

To be honest, I was contemplating giving you ops on those two anyways. They were definitely good videos. I can't promise you 2500 words, but I'll try to be as detailed as I can.

Besides... I might as well get started on them now, since I have this week off school and there's no better time for ops.

I'm certain you'll find plenty to pick on in that little vid
