Ghost in the Shell : 2nd Movie !!! : Summer 2004

A new Ghost in the Shell movie is being planned to be released in early summer 2004. The title of the movie is Ghost in the Shell: Innocence and has been in production for more then 4 years and has amasses a budget of over 10 million dollars.

For those who have been collecting the Region 2 Studio Ghibli DVDs, there is a short trailer, and a "Sneak Preview" of Innocence on the Extras DVD for Nausicaa.

Oddly enough, I first saw the trailers just a few minutes before (finally put the Nausicaa Extras disc in). I almost had a heart attack when I recognized Bateau!!

Big Fish, who has the US distro rights, has said it will be released in the states in 2004, so rejoice.

mm im guessing but i think it comes out in Japan Summer 2004... then hopefuly a few l8r the US well get it then UK gets it a wee bit afta them so not long to wait

... shud be worth it if they spent 4 yrs makin it
