Asuka whips up a formula that sends her on to the next round over Silky. Alas, for me, I have to say good-bye to another very interesting character as Silky is one of the more intriguing characters I have seen in anime. I also thought her blank personality (at least for a good hunk of the series) might capture those people who like to vote for Evangelion's Rei all the damn time. Asuka moves on to the next round.

Asuka whips up a formula that sends her on to the next round over Silky. The star of beauty couldn't hold up to Idol Defense Force: Hummingbird's Kanna Toreishi. I'm sad to see Miku go... maybe if I had seen any of Hummingbirds, my vote might have been different. Alas, I must bid farewell to Metal Fighter Miku and send Kanna on to the next round.

Millia's hair seems to be an unstoppable force as it hurls Nanaka out of the Eliminator. This was actually a very hard choice for me. In the end, I had to go with Millia... mostly because of character design. I would have been happy to see either character win and I would feel badly for the character who had to leave. In this case, we shed a tear for Nanaka and congratulate Millia as she moves on.

What an upset! I was so sure Azalyn was going to take the whole Eliminator and sure enough, she has lost to Rage of the Dragon's Annie at a 2 to 1 loss no less! I really like Annie's design and I would vote for Annie over many of the characters here, but Azalyn just wasn't one of those people. Still... the votes speak out and Annie moves on to the next round in those groovy socks of hers.

Well... for reasons which I can't begin to fathom, Nana has soundly beaten Cassandra in this round. Can someone explain this one to me? I think Nana has a very boring character design and I felt she should have been knocked out Round 1... is it the fan? Nah... couldn't be the fan...

Well... the last of the characters from Metal Fighter Miku has been eliminated as Sayaka is soundly beaten by Karina and her blazing toad! DAMN THE BLAZING TOAD! I like Karina's design, but this is one of those times that I had to vote for personality... since I have seen the series Sayaka is from... and often I will vote personality over design. This was still a rather close choice for me and I would have been happy for either character to win... I just put my vote on Sayaka. However, we watch as Karina wins the last pair of the round.
