So, here's the deal: I was REALLY bored in biology one day and I came up with this list. Read it and add on to it. You'll get it when you read it. Also, these are SUPPOSE to be general anime things, but...they actually don't work for some anime. ^^; Oh well...here we go.1) You will start off as a normal, everyday girl/boy until you open something mysterious or learn about an ancient legend.
2) There are always gaint robots. Always.
3) Tokyo has the annoying habit of being the center of everything. Invasions, power soruces, final battles, apocalypses, you name it. So, you might want to change your lodgings accordingly.
4) Beware the mascot. They may look like harmless animals, but they can often transform in spaceships, eat things bigger than their heads, grow 10 times their normal size, fly, talk and be annoying as hell.
5) Remember: That guy/girl you argue with, fight with and claim to hate will end up being your main love interest.
6) You will be involved in some type of love triangle. Or pentagon. Or hexagon. Or octagon.
7) If you are a girl, the male lead will usually be stronger than you.
8 ) If you are a guy, you will usually be stronger than the female lead. Yet the girl will have the ability to pull out a mallet from nowhere and beat the crap outta you.
9) Bad guys are generally nice fellows. They won't attack you while you're transforming, powering up, talking, thinking lengthy thoughts or arguing with your main love interest.
10) Face it: The savior of Earth is a gaint robot pioleted by a 14 year old boy with social issues.
11) You will meet a lone wolf type character who hates the world and doesn't trust a soul. If you are a girl, then this character will be a guy and your main love intrest.
12) If you have seven girlfriends, never let them all stay over at your house at once. It could lead to some akward situations.
13) The evil henchmen who starts to move toward the side of good will be the first to die.
14) If you hear a legend about an ancient evil that was destroyed and/or sealed away forever, expect to encounter it in 5 to 10 episodes.
15) No one else seems to be capable of saving the world except you.
16) Unless she's a child, no female will have a flat chest.
17) You will travel with or know a pervert.
And that's all I have.
Okay, so, add to the list! 
Oh well.
