What I did once, I was just playing around in Magix and played with the settings of the Invert. Made it red, blue, black, x-ray, rainbow-y, fire and other things. I think Premiere can do the same.

I would suggest convert to Black and white, then adjust the levels some, then give it a slight tint.
Or then again, maybe that wouldn't work at all. Worth a shot though.

I don't think you'll find anything like that, not at a price mortals can afford. Thing is, the skeletal information does not exist in the original clip. No bones means nothing for any effect to affect.

Maybe some place like ILM has custom software for this.

actualy, im trying to get it so that an imposed skeleton exported out of Poser 3D looks as if its an XRay image. Poser exports AVIs where the object is in the alpha channel, in other words, if i make a skeleton jump up and down on a plain of endless grey, i can take the AVI into Premiere and key out the grey by adding an alpha channel reverse key. however, with out something to make it look like an XRay, it looke like a brightly colored skeleton imposed ontop of the footage.

so, any ideas now?

BTW, i am messing with the colors like everyone says to, and ill post some images on it, but imnot happy with the results, youll see what i mean.

if their is a way to add something like the "outer glow" to something like the "find edges" key in Premiere, that would be VERY helpful

I've found Convolution Matrices that can make an image look like chalk on a black chalkboard, but no x-rays yet.
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

I didn't realize it before, but that Luna Blue is a cool site. It goes on my favorites list. :)

Can you run your Poser project with slightly different settings; e.g. with a "body" instead of a skeleton? You don't want a lot of detail. The idea is to have a body-like form moving the same path as the bones. Then you put the body AVI on a track above the skeleton AVI (time-aligned, of course). Then adjust the body AVI with blur, saturation, transparency...whatever you need to get it to look right with the bones showing through the "cloudy" body form.

If you can't do that, maybe just put a copy of the same skeleton AVI on the higher track. Zoom in slightly, blur it, add transparency, bump up luminosity or saturation...it might work.

BTW, did you see that Grave of the Fireflies video that was in last year's AWA Masters? It had a skeleton, too.
