Ok maybe it is has been done before but just hear me out:

There was a vid made by digitalgod called "A Tribute to Shinji and Asuka" and it combined anime images with music video performances of Vertcial Horizon from the sogn "Everything You Want". And I thought the vid was very nice. Well I decided I wanted to do a vid just like that.

To you people who want originality you might have mixed feeling for this. I used the anime NGE (TV and both movies) and the song/video The Red by Chevelle. Fortunately for me the song was only used 20 times and the anime/song combination hasnt been used. People might think that this is an excuse for making a whole AMV but I think the performance images work smoothly and wonderfully with the anime.

This is the idea: In the beginning you Shinji and Asuka in their Evas. The problem is they are being beaten, badly. There day just couldnt get any worse. Then at the beginnning of the instrumental bridge I use the MV image of the steel vault locking up and increasing pressure. So I make it like Shinji and Asuka are in this kind of position and when that happens then inisde of the capsules turn red, kinda like a man going psycho. When they reach that point, all their enemies are killed a feverish bloodbath while the inside of the capsule is still red, expressing their furious look. and at the end the redness fades away and the pilots are back to normal. And I gonna call this vid: Red Omega v.01. Whaddya think. Call it a mistake all you want, it is coming. And I dont even care how many people see it. I just thought it would be cool to do.

That's nice. Especially in the AMV Announcement Forum, which is designed to announce videos that have already been completed, and are available for download now.

Maybe AMV Suggestions would have been more applicable? Or your Member Journal?
