That may be because a lot of the responders don't see anything wrong with this.njijin wrote:looks like most of the new songs that are the more liked.
To go from "Leather and metal are our uniforms/Protecting what we are" to Nickelodeon tie-ins: time elapsed, 21 years. Credibility loss, immeasurable.

One
Enter Sandman
St Anger
Unnamed Feeling
Fuel
For Whom The Bell Tolls
No Leaf Clover
Whisky In a Jar
Frantic

Metallica
How can someone pick just one Metallica song?
I am yet to find a Metallica song I don't like. They have such a variety to their music, yet maintain a signature sound.
My favorite depends on the type of song.
Master of Puppets - Heavy Metal (Also my fav Bass song)
My Friend of Misery - Slow and Powerful
Fade to Black - Fav Guitar Part
The Struggle Within - Fav Drum Part
Fuel - Fast Metal
The Unforgiven - Power Ballad
No Leaf Clover - Orchestrated
Dirty Window - New
Stone Cold Crazy - Remake
Oh...I almost forgot every song on every album (yes that is a lot).

hehehe...
Cliff Burton was actually the reason I started growing my hair out when I turned 16 4 years ago (4 years and it's only at my belt...). I've never really given And Justice for all a fair listen as a result I guess, as Newstead-era works have always seemed to lack something the first three albums had. The three instrumentals (Anesthesia, Call of Ktulu, and Orion) are probably my favorites.
As far as their "later" stuff goes, The only album since the Black Album I've really liked was Garage Inc. (and bits and pieces of S&M). It's like the 80's all over again, and I revel in every minute of it. Astronomy, It's Electric, So What (I dare someone to use this song for something...), Last Caress, Blitzkreig, Am I Evil...So much good stuff on there...

I already did.Kaji01 wrote:So What (I dare someone to use this song for something...)
It'll be hosted somewhere as soon as I can find a server that I'm not certain will ban or start legal proceedings against me for doing so.
It's "So What", it's got Metallica playing on it, it's an ADV property, and it's got a pedophilia joke inside the first minute, though, so this could be a while...
