The last episdoes of RK
what are your guy's thoughts of the last episodes of Rurouni Kenshin. From the ending of the Kyoto Arc to the end of the series.
I actually enjoyed it except for the episodes involving Jinpu and the Fusui. I did like the Shimbara Arc and the Knights from Germany part.
Sorry if this might not be considered episdode discussions.

Hmm... up through Kyoto was definitely better, but some of the second half was fun... I actually kinda liked the Sano love interest thing in the Christian arc (though I didn't really appreciate their theology). I wasn't really a fan of the second OVA though...

Yeah, I meant this section to be a little MORE specific than like the last 30+ episodes of a series, so I'm going to move it to General Anime. The Hitokiri Battousai wrote:what are your guy's thoughts of the last episodes of Rurouni Kenshin. From the ending of the Kyoto Arc to the end of the series.

Anyways, the only post-Kyoto episodes I really liked were the fillers like the ring episode. The Christianity arc dragged on way too long and I didn't really buy into the whole being-blinded-by-merely-looking-at-someone-attacking-you thing. I didn't mind the Knights arc too much except that Kenshin was basically fighting the Nazis. And that last arc with the Chinese mystics...UGH. Granted, Kenshin's (and everyone else's) sword techniques were a little unrealistic to begin with, but suddenly he's fighting magic??? It seemed kind of unusual that they kept magic out of the series for the entire length until the end. But that was probably just the producers running out of ideas (since the 3rd season didn't follow the manga plotline).
My favorite video: Grilled Steak Trigun I LOVE THE COPS! Rargh!

I did enjoy the Shimbara (Christian) Arc pretty much. Shougo was pretty cool and Sano was a major player in it which is cool cause he's my fav character.
I kinda got the Pre-Nazi Arc thing with Schnieder and stuff. Didn't flow alot.
The Fusui sucked. Kenshin isn't supposed to have magic in it and if it is supposed to be magic, then it's a trick as they usually do.
But RK is sitll my favorite series.

The only fillers after Kyoto I like are eps 65- 68, 70-78, and 85. I found them funny. Kenshin fighting magic and the blind by an attack thing was a bit to out there for me. the Nazi eps weren't my piece of pie either.
I didn't mind the very last ep. for some reason, But I wasn't thrilled either.
I'll still love this this series for a very long time though.
