3) black sabbath w/o ozzy

5) kurt cobain
6) AC/DC

I agree with most of your list......

except you left out PInk Floyd, Guns n' Roses and Def Leppard.......and I'm not real fond of Van Halen to begin with, but like I said, I agree with most of it...

now about this list from akatoro...I think he misunderstood the meaning of Rock Gods.....oO......<i>really</i> misunderstood........that's all I have to say about that..

-_-......you must understand this, I don't have anything against you or the type of music you like...everyone has their own taste....however, you cannot put Floyd, Ozzy, AC/DC in the same league as Nightwish.....not because Nightwish are bad...but because they have not been around long enough to build the legacy that the previous mentioned bands/singers have......perhaps 20 years from now, Nightwish will still be a very recognizable band and have tons of platinum hits and their name be recognized accross the world, only time will tell.....but as of now, you cannot place them among the "Gods" of Rock......sorry if I sounded like I was putting you down earlier, my apologies.

ohh and i forgot Guns n' roses are rock gods i just forgot to include them in my list.

NOTE TO OTHERS there are many things required to call someone a rock god so pleaz dont start posting anyone just beacause you like them.
