What manga/show/movie [got you into anime?]

Hey, I like Harry Potter! Plus it got all the dumb kids at my jr. high to read a bit, making them less dumb before, therefore making them less of a nuisance to me. So I'd say HP improved the quality of my life.

It simply bugs me that thats one of the few fantasy series that people will even look at. My own sister for instance found the genre as a whole "pretty dumb" as she put it. Then she gets Harry Potter....oh sure she won't read anything else, in fact those are the only books she owns and she won't read anything else....

Oh, and that one British girl was teh hawt.

Battle Arena Toshinden was the anime movie that got me into it as a full otaku. Good thing it was not pokemon.

I'm not picky...and I'm sure there are pretty British girls....maybe I should just use the [/sarcasim] tags more often...they do call for less understandings ~_~
