naruto is best described as dragon ball z with ninjas. generic characters, littel plot to speak of, but...you can't stop watching it.

lol, actually, i have to disagree
but i don't know if there are any katanas in the db serieses, but they still use daggers and giant swords at times, mostly shuriken though in naruto

and the 'magic powers' are the same in dbz (i'm most familiar with) as they are in naruto
in naruto: energy from ur mind and body channeled to manifest spells
in dbz: energy from ur body controled by ur senses and ur mind into order to either cause that energy to fly out of ur body and explode (infamous ki shots) or move people or other objects

and please don't say that naruto doesn't use chakra to move or deflect things like dbz uses ki/chi (same thing as chakra) because naruto does that in the fight against Haku, he reaches a high level of power and in able to use his chakra to deflect sum needles that are thrown at him
even Kakashi uses a high level of chakra that it is visible by the human eye, granted it was an extremely high level move and not used as often as in the db serieses, but you have to remember that most people in db/dbz/dbgt were trained by the very gods themselves, plus the main characters are members of a warrior race, so they automatically have high combat abilities.

so i wouldn't necessarily say the two series (naruto/db) are entirely different, but they are indeed not the same
Naruto is a lot more thorough with the backgrounds and character development is seen in a LOT more characters than just a hand full

the plot is more interesting and the fighters involved use their smarts a lot more than their brawn to outwit their opponents, so in the fighting also Naruto is better

...and definately give Alucard_FoN a friggin medal for a battle well fought, sorry HentaiMaster, you got pwned! >_<

I already told you, I believe mass is energy. It's not even close to the same thing you are talking about. When the people in Naruto do things with chakra they don't shrink because they use up mass. The energy that I'm talking about and the energy you are talking about are two totally different types. I do not believe people have the same kind of energy you are talking about because there is no evidence to support such a conclusion, and it would be awfully irresponsible of me, epistimologically speaking, to believe something I don't have any evidence for. It's even more irresponsible of you to state said belief as fact when there is clearly not enough evidence to support your position.

You see it hase been allways easy to say i do not beleve in it because you do not have anny or enought proof to actualy proove what i support. However try at least to think further than your nose (no offence). Do not be like the peuple in the renessance, to think that the sun actualy turns around the earth and lived blindly for more than 400 yearsuntill somme one proove them wrong. Try to think a litle bit more on the things that can not be prooven. Try to evolve (do not mean this in any bad way) and not just cut the everything buy saying " You can not provve it " or " there is not enought proof" .
