I know what you are thinking: "Not another post about this movie." BUT this is new, fresh info.

Frankly, the art does not look to great. I have a bad feeling about this movie.

Oh, and here is the text from the art page, with bolding and intalics added by me:

CGNetworks readers have sent in concept artwork for the upcoming Evangelion feature film. The concept art is being produced by Weta Workshop - the folks behind the Lord of the Rings movies and upcoming King Kong. You'll notice that some of the images have the names of the Japanime characters changed - e.g. Rei Ayanami = Ray, Asuka Langley = Kate Rose and Misato Katsuragi = Susan Whitnall.

These are character names, NOT actor names.

Wtf who thinks these are susposed to be Asuka and misato? Kate rose wtf and shes ugly too. I sure hope they are not changing character names to appeal to a broader audience Adv should know better.

I think that art is ok ... the thing im disappointed at is the characters, they should have stuck with the original ones...

They changed the character names. This proves beyond a doubt that they do not hold enough of the original series sacred to do it justice.

Wasn't Kate Rose also the name of that chick from Titanic?
